2013 Day 25/365 – Dreamer

So yesterday, I randomly decided that I felt “dreamy” and I should take a photo with that in mind. WDH??? What does tht even mean? So I mulled around with some ideas. Zip, nada, zero light bulbs.. Of course, now I’m set on the theme. I was showing the space to a client and suddenly the “light bulb” went off..
I just loved the way the background light kissed the petals of the orchid.. I love that one flower at the top. Looks like a painting.. (Yes, @HelenOster that’s why I said you were creeping me out with your earlier link)
Happy Friday Folks.. Crazy extreme weather, so where ever you may be, dress accordingly, take precautions and remember to check on the elderly..

I’ve never painted orchids, which is odd, because I have a particular affinity with them…..my grandfather was quite a renowned orchid grower in the 1950′s & 1960′s in the UK. So they were my choice of flower for my wedding bouquet.
Seeing your photograph has got me inspired to get my paints out as soon as one of the 2 in my bedroom decides to bloom again!
