2013 Day 36/365 – World Nutella Day
Nutella lovers unite!
In many European countries, this spread oozes on breakfast toast and brings a smile to children’s otherwise tired and cranky faces. Whether on a crepe, bread or cake, today’s holiday brings to light all things about this chocolate-hazelnut spread that we Americans may not know.
Nutella is a staple in our house. My kid quickly made the move from peanut butter before she even entered kindergarten. Crepes with Nutella and Strawberry is a go-to dessert.. I love Nutella and Bananas…
Alright, this was a no-brainer photo today.. How could I pass up the opportunity the lick the spoon… hehe

I did not know it was world nutella day, but we love it in our house too! Sounds like a good reason to have it for dinner
Haha!! already text kid that SHE should tell her father to make us crepes… hahahaha
My son used to call it chocut sreb. When he was in kindergarten, he would request 3 mini sandwiches for ‘snack’: 1 chocut sreb, 1 chocut sreb with butter and 1 just butter.
Happy memories!
Memories indeed.. My daughter drove me crazy with “no edges” lol
I have to tell you if you ever get the chance to do a taste comparison try the Italian made Nutella it is surprisingly different
Hey Michael, I’m no Nutella connoisseur but we had it while in Italy.. I ate the entire spoon after my photo.. haha
