Day 202/365 – What is it?

Growing up in Trinidad – a delicacy.. But that was then; this is now O_o  It was just to “smelly” for me… That being said, my hubby (Italian) loves Tripe.. So we decided to prepare it and each chose a recipe to follow..

#1. Portuguese style: Chorizo, peas, onions

#2: A La Romano: fresh tomato, garlic, mint

#3: Trinidadian: curry, garlic, habanero, peas

Of all three, we loved the second one.. That mint just brought it to another level..

I didn’t actually take photos of the completed dishes.. Too busy eating and drinking.. Family time is family time 😀
