Day 299/365 – National Pumpkin Day

Little People Stories – It was Marc’s first visit to a Pumpkin Patch. He seemed very surprised to see LARGE PUMPKINS. I giggled as he began to hum the nursery rhyme “Peter Peter Pumpkin Eater”, wondering if the couple making out behind the big pumpkin stirred the memory..

Will try to catch up with my blog this weekend. Been really busy with my Zoo, entertaining visitors etc… As always, thanks for stopping by..

Oh yeah, almost forgot!!! October 26th

It’s National Pumpkin Day! Pumpkins are the harbinger of the harvest season, appearing every year as the first sign of autumn. Did you know that the word “pumpkin” comes from the Greek word “pepon,” meaning “large melon”?  more info
